THE WORLD OF SPORT WITH FRANSICA CHIPERE ( CRICKET PLAYER )
Francisca Chipare (born 1 October 1998) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who plays for the Zimbabwe women's national cricket team. In February 2021, Chipare was named in Zimbabwe's Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) squad for their series against Pakistan. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tour was called off after just one match, with Chipare missing out on her chance to debut.
In October 2021, she was named in Zimbabwe's Women's One Day International (WODI) squad for their series against Ireland. The following month, she was again named in Zimbabwe's WODI squad, this time for their series against Bangladesh.She made her WODI debut on 10 November 2021, for Zimbabwe against Bangladesh. Later the same month, she was named in Zimbabwe's team for the 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe.
In April 2022, she was named in Zimbabwe's WT20I squad for the 2022 Capricorn Women's Tri-Series. She made her WT20I debut on 21 April 2022, for Zimbabwe against Uganda.
She started playing cricket at the age of eleven. She was coached by Nonhlahla Nyathi. She is currently pursuing Bachelor of Science in wildlife, ecology and conservation.
Zimbabwe bowler Francisca Chipare graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Wildlife, Ecology and Conservation at Chinhoyi University of Technology.
Chipare has been balancing national team duties and study. Congratulations on your achievement Fra. She is passionate about wildlife biology and hopes to make a significant contribution to endangered species conservation through research and advocacy. She did her work related learning attachment at Wildlife Conservation Action stationed at the organization's Shangani Large Carnivore Project. She naturally loves wild animals and admire them so much. She also loves and enjoys biology and being someone who loves biology with a passion, she decided to venture into conservation sciences so as to protect wildlife and promote biodiversity, protect the environment as well as human health. Protecting wildlife and preserving it for future generations means that the animals she loves don’t go extinct and become a distant memory.

Princes Hlupe Also known as LADY P is a bulawayo based artist from the dusty roads of Entumbane known as (eNtufountain) were the likes of black mfolosi, mjox , Obzinto, Dr juta ,Thaeh the loud one , Browny jus to name a few. she started her music journey in 2019when she was helping a splash artist who went by the name "Manqoba" she happens to have 2 albums with him, after gainning confidence she decided to start Building her own Brand as LADY P. She happens to have more than 10 singles to her name but she released her first album on the 26th of May 2023 , which was tittled 'KHETHILE KHETHILE' which had 8 tracks . During her Journey she happened to work with different artist ,Madewa, abntwana bensindiso, Moyoxide, Thaluso the poet at the same time she happened to be a choreographer at Community Messengers. When asked asked about her experience working with the above she replied "It has been an honour working with these artist they helped me grow to what l am today and l am very gratefull to all of them for giving me the ability to be who l am now and helping me grow my brand LADY P ..
LADY P has shared the stage with different high profiled artist from around sourthen African like Dalom kids, Matshikos to name a few and she shared the stage with South African Qhom Queen Babes Wodumo on the 30th of September at the Ultra Beer Festival along side Dj sweeto ,Mzoe7,Volts jus to name a few .

Queen Of Hip Hop Young Gemini
Born Tania Seremwe in Harare, Zimbabwe, Young Gemini is 23 year old singer, songwriter and rapper currently residing in Norton, Zimbabwe. She began her music career in 2019 as a songwriter and has performed at multiple festivals across the country including The Changamire Hip-Hop Festival, Hustlers Market and Shoko Festival and has collaborated with multiple artists such as Tashamiswa, Ti Gonzi, Prince Boyah and many more. Most recently she has released her debut album "RAPTURE" as well as a mixtape titled "Love Is Violent Everyday". She also has big hits making waves all over Zimbabwe such as "trust" which was released 01/06/2023 , "mae" which was released 17/03/23 , "rooftop" which was released 22/07/22 , Bad released 10/12/2020 and many more. Young Gemini made money as a makeup artist because of the lack of support when she was starting out. She didn’t have an agent, so basically she had to hustle but Luck struck when a producer looked at one of her songs and realised she was talented.Reigning Best Female Hip-Hop Artist 2022, 2023 and 2024 Award
This allowed her to go from being a makeup artist with singing as a side gig to being able to make music full-time. It’s also important for her to make time daily to write her songs.
Young Gemini is grateful for the continuous motivation and support that she has always received from her parents. It’s their inspiration that makes her go for her dreams. Their encouragement is what made her believe in taking up an offer to do a television ad with Mukuru that talks about how our older generations have paved the way and made sacrifices to fuel the dreams of younger generations.Looking up to icons such as Jeezy and Joyner Lucas, Young Gemini aims to start a music school for women, giving back to her community and expanding her love of the art. She also has a dream of creating an entirely female-run studio, from the musicians through to the producers.

From Ekasi To the World Part two (Awakhiwe Sibanda )
Awakhiwe Sibanda, better known as Awa Khiwe is a Hip-hop artist from Nkayi,Zimbabwe. She grew up in Nkayi and Makokoba,Bulawayo. She started making music in 2012 in Zimbabwe. Awa Khiwe is known for pioneering a unique sound, a fusion of Hip Hop and her Ndebele culture. Dressed in her beautiful traditional costumes, she uniquely raps in her mother tongue Ndebele, which has a lot of click sounds. Her fast paced, energetic Ndebele and English rap tackles issues like Gender-Based Violence, child marriages, politics and many more.
According to a BBC article, “she is using hip-hop to improve human rights”. She is a charismatic storyteller, a versatile artist who can shapeshift into any genre with her powerful sound. Awa Khiwe is nicknamed “The Village Girl” because she is unapologetic about her rural background and her culture. Her versatility and passion was also influenced by her childhood in her urban home in Makokoba, the oldest township in Bulawayo. Noisey Raps published a documentary about Awa Khiwe (Zimbabwe’s Rap Queen) which won The Best Inspirational Film Award at the R.I.F.A in the U.K. The documentary was also nominated for a Women’s Rights in Africa Award. In Place of War started working with Awa Khiwe in Makokoba doing tours in Zimbabwe and the U.K.
Awa Khiwe is a member of the fierce all-female band(GRRRL) which perfomed at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Australia. The band has also had successful tours in the U.K and Europe. After winning the Best Female Hip Hop Artist award in Zimbabwe in 2016, Awa Khiwe moved to Germany where she was signed by Outhere records, she has also perfomed in Germany, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Netherlands.
Awa Khiwe has travelled to many countries sharing her music and her culture but her music is still deeply rooted in Zimbabwe. She won the Outstanding Hip Hop Artist Award at the Bulawayo Arts Awards and the Best Diaspora Award at the Zim Hip Hop Awards. She has been nominated at the Star FM awards and the NAMA awards. She is currently working with Producer Ghanaian Stallion.
